Two channels installation shown for the first time in 2009 in the wide spaces of the Complesso del San Michele a Ripa, in Rome.
A baseball pitcher, 20 meters away, throws balls to some ceramic sculptures till theyre totally shattered. The installation envisages that the observer covers the space between the two projections remaining in the same pitch trajectory. The shootings were made directly on site maintaining the same distance provided by the game rules between the pitcher and the target object and then repeated in the video projections inside the space.
Installazione a due canali presentata per la prima volta al'interno dei gandi spazi del Complesso del San Michele a Ripa, Roma 2009.
Un lanciatore di baseball a distanza di venti metri lancia delle palle su alcune composizioni scultoree in ceramica fino alla distruzione totale delle stesse. L'installazione prevede che l'osservatore percorra lo spazio fra le due proiezioni stando nella stessa traiettoria del lancio. Le riprese sono state effettuate direttamente sul posto mantenendo la stessa distanza prevista dalle regole del gioco tra battitore e oggetto ricevente, ripetute poi nelle proiezioni video all'interno dello spazio.
